Annual Gala Raises Record $150,000 for Education

Last Saturday, our annual 'Educate for Tomorrow' gala exceeded all expectations, raising a record-breaking $150,000 for our educational initiatives in Ghana. The event, held at the prestigious Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, brought together over 300 supporters, including local business leaders, government officials, and international partners.

The evening was filled with inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and a silent auction featuring artwork donated by renowned Ghanaian artists. The highlight of the night was a moving speech by Ama Darko, a former beneficiary of our programs who is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the University of Ghana.

"The support I received from Be a Solution changed the trajectory of my life," Ama shared. "It's not just about the financial assistance; it's about the belief they instilled in me that I could achieve my dreams."

The funds raised will be allocated to various programs:

- $60,000 for school supplies and textbooks

- $40,000 for teacher training initiatives

- $30,000 for infrastructure improvements in partner schools

- $20,000 for scholarship programs
